| DEWALT's new 12 Volt MAX infrared thermometer is ideal for electricians, plumbers, remodelers and HVAC contractors tasked with scanning for temperature changes and locating potential trouble spots on the jobsite. With the ability to measure temperatures from negative 20 degrees Fahrenheit to 932 degrees Fahrenheit and a patent-pending LED hot and cold spot indicator, the IR thermometer provides visual and audio alarms to alert contractors in noisy work conditions. Maximum initial battery pack voltage (measured without a workload) is 12 volts. Measured under a workload, nominal voltage is 10.8. Includes a 12V Max Li-Ion Battery (DCB120F). note on battery technology: When batteries are being charged and discharged a chemical reaction is taking place, and if it is too hot or cold the chemical reaction is disturbed causing a loss of runtime. when using the battery in cold climates to put the battery on charge first or do a couple quick applications to get it warmed up. For optimum performance, do not store batteries in areas where the temperature drops below 40 degrees Fahrenheit. ...Read more |
