The CPL50 gets the job done by projecting highly visible laser chalk-lines at the touch of a button. You can choose from vertical, horizontal, compensated cross, or manual cross lines, depending on what your application demands.

Versatile Plumb and Angle Projections
The CPL50's built-in laser plumb beam allows for 180-degree projection of points from floor to ceiling. And since the vertical laser line intersects the vertical plumb beam, you can align the new vertical point across the ceiling for applications such as lighting or sprinkler system installations. The laser cross line feature and vertical plumb beam combination eliminates the need to have two separate tools and also eliminates errors caused by switching instruments during jobsite tasks.

The CPL50 also offers a five-degree self-leveling range that alerts you by blinking when the unit is moved out of the level position, so you always know right away if the instrument has been jostled and can avoid costly, time consuming errors. In manual mode, you can tilt the unit to match an angle between any two points for slope or incline applications. With 130-degree horizontal and 140-degree vertical fan angles, the CPL50 provides best-in-class performance. Over 100 feet of line length when the unit is positioned 30 feet from any surface.

For exterior applications, the included receiver can be added to your laser level system to ensure accuracy in bright light or over long distances of up to 165 feet, so you don't need two separate tools.

Convenient Mounting Options and Durable Design
The CPL50 comes with a Universal Mounting Accessory that lets you adapt it for use in a wide range of situations. You can attach it to metal studs magnetically, use the strap to fasten it to columns, or use the keyhole slot to screw it onto any flat surface. It even fits over commercial drywall track.

Measuring just 4-1/2 x 2-1/4 x 3-7/8 inches, this compact instrument is easy to store and deploy. It is fully protected by a rubber housing, so you can count on it to stand up to the rigors of jobsite use. When not in use, the CPL50 features a compensator locking mechanism built into the power switch that will lock the compensator in place when powering the unit off. The lock keeps the unit safe during transport and storage and eliminates damage to the compensator.

Three "AA" batteries will power this efficient unit for up to 25 hours of one-beam operation or 12 hours of two-beam operation, and you can rely on a convenient auto shut-off feature to conserve battery life and save you money.
